Pentecostal Bridge, MO, 2020.
On Aug 17, 2020, a semi truck carrying 20 tons of feed attempted to cross a bridge limited to 5 tons.
The Pentecostal Bridge in Westphalia, Missouri completely collapsed.
The truck and its driver were brought down with it. |

1880 Iron Bridge, IN, 2015.
On December 25 2015, a historic iron bridge (posted for 6-Tons) was destroyed when a 53-foot box trailer containing over 21 tons of bottled water was driven on to it. |

Polk County Bridge, AK, 2015.
A log truck traveling on Polk County Road 675 on July 6th 2015, crossed a bridge posted for 8-Tons, which collapsed as a result.
It was determined that the truck was over 15 tons over-weight. |

Daley’s Bridge, IO, 2017.
On May 5 2017, an overloaded truck crossed Daley’s Bridge, northeast of Cresco, Iowa.
The 3-Ton posted bridge collapsed into the Upper Iowa River.
The replacement cost to the bridge was estimated at $775,000. |

Dale Bend Bridge, AK, 2019.
A truck collapsed a bridge in Yell County Arkansas on 30th January 2019. It was 32 tons too heavy for the bridge, which had a limit of 6-Tons.
The estimated cost to replace the bridge was $1 million. |
